Roney Campaign Threatened Paul Campaign with PR A-Bomb

In an interview with Doug Wead, a Ron Paul 2012 campaign adviser, talks to We Are Change about this years campaign and what happened.  At one point, the Romney campaign apparently threatened the Paul campaign with a PR A-bomb if they ran any more negative attack ads against Romney.  Also during this exclusive interview, Wead discusses about the Ron Paul RNC delegate controversy, the Republican party, and criticism of Jesse Benton.  This news finally answers the real reason Ron Paul didn't attack Mitt Romney during the campaign.

Doug Wead in the interview tells Paul supporters and We Are Change reporters that he will continue to fight the good fight and support any liberty candidates where he can.  Wead has served in 7 different presidential campaigns in his career and does not feel the Paul campaign was given a fair fight in this 2012 election as the Republican party and RNC continuously fought dirty.

Republicans Move Convention Delegate Vote to Time with No TV Coverage, to Hide Ron Paul

Ben Ginsberg, top lawyer was featured in the recent Rachel Maddow show as he is trying to change the rules for the RNC.  He has been pushing through rules so that when candidates are elected they get all the delegates for the state.  They have also moved the Republican National Convention air date from Wednesday to now Monday when there is no network coverage as there were speculations that the over 200 Ron Paul delegates coming to the 2012 conservative convention were going to make sure their voices were heard.

2012 Republican National Convention Postponed

Latest news out of Florida Today from the Republican National Convention President and CEO Bill Harris made the following statement: “Our chief priority is the safety of the residents of Florida, of those visiting the Convention, and all those in Gulf Coast states who may be impacted by Tropical Storm Isaac. We have been working closely with the campaign, the party, and state and local officials for months to ensure a successful, enjoyable convention. Federal, state and local officials assure us that they are prepared to respond, if needed, and the scheduling changes we are announcing today will help ensure the continued safety of all participants – our foremost concern. We are also committed to keeping the delegates and guests of the convention well informed about the situation, and we will continue providing updates in the hours and days ahead.”  Many are unsure how this will affect the delegates attendance to the convention.

Then later the Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus made the following long statement: “Due to the severe weather reports for the Tampa Bay area, the Republican National Convention will convene on Monday August 27th and immediately recess until Tuesday afternoon, August 28th. After consulting with Governor Scott, NOAA and local emergency management officials, we are optimistic that we will begin an exciting, robust convention that will nominate the Romney-Ryan ticket."  This may ruin many people's and speakers plans and trips that were made by people from out of the state of Florida.  This may also affect the delegate count for the 2012 RNC convention.

Many Paul supporters were in Tampa today celebrating Paul fest which featured many bands and liberty minded spokes people such as Tom Woods.  The celebration did not feature Ron or Rand Paul as they have their own private convention in the Thunder dome which has apparently sold out.

What's the difference in these twins for the 2012 election anyway?

A Storm is Coming To Tampa

Hurricane Isaac (Paul) is heading for Tampa this Sunday, at the same time as the Republican National Convention. Much like the liberty movement this storm could end up very strong and organized and could end up affecting the convention.  The store is moving through the Caribbean of the next couple of days and could end up being a nasty storm for the state of Florida.  Many conservatives are worried about the outcome of this hurricane.

Freedom Watch Cancelled - Could This Be an Opening for Judge Napolitano as Ron Paul's Running mate?

In an interesting turn of events, Judge Andrew Napolitano's show, FreedomWatch, has recently been canceled by Fox new.  The show primarily targeted and was enjoyed by freedom advocates and Teaparty Conservatives, many of whom are Ron Paul supporters.  The show's pro-freedom and liberty movement stance played cadence to support of Dr. Ron Paul as he was talked about, featured in segments and conversation and interviewed many times during the show's last year.

With great prime time ratings the show's abrupt halt came as something of a shock to many of it's avid viewers.  This has many viewers wondering what is the real story behind the cancellation?  Was Judge Napolitano's voice of freedom being stomped out by the empowered "establishment", does Fox simply have a better lineup on the way or are their bigger plans in store for the Judge.

Outraged by the cancellation, many of the show's fans and Dr. Paul supporters wrote Fox News in to discourage and reverse their decision.  In a recent Facebook post by Judge Napolitano, he ask his supporters to stop sending emails to Fox. More particularly, he briefly talks about the cancellation by saying "Two of my former shows have been cancelled, and after each cancellation, Fox has rewarded me with more and better work. This cancellation--along with others that accompanied it--was the result of a business judgment here, and is completely unrelated to the FreedomWatch message."

This post raised many eyebrows as Fox doesn't seem like as much of the bad guy with the Judge telling everyone to back off.  Could the Judge be hinting at bigger opportunities?  With the show's ending and Ron Paul's continuous increase in Delegate count could this lead way to a Judge Napolitano Vice President nominee announcement down the road?  Few know the truth, but the weeks ahead may indeed hold the truth for us all.
